Where the upward arrow sends visitors straight ahead and the downward arrow marks an arrival point, the left arrow actively redirects foot traffic at a decision point, catching visitors at the exact moment they need to change direction and steering them toward the smoking area before they continue the wrong way and end up smoking somewhere they shouldn’t.

This sign is particularly valuable when mounted at T-intersections, lobby branching points, corridor junctions, and building exits where the smoking area lies to the left of the natural pedestrian flow.
