Overview
This is the vertical counterpart to the horizontal Designated Smoking and Vaping Area full-text sign — carrying the same explicit dual designation across both icon and text, but repackaged in an 18″ × 24″ tall format that opens up an entirely different set of mounting possibilities. The two green-circle icons sit side by side in the upper portion of the panel, giving the cigarette and vaping device symbols prominent display at natural eye level when mounted at standard door or post height. Below them, the four-line text layout — DESIGNATED / SMOKING / AND VAPING / AREA — fills the lower panel with generous, well-spaced lettering that reads clearly from across any outdoor area or corridor.
Where the horizontal version spreads its dual-icon message across a wide wall surface, this vertical format concentrates the same content into a narrower footprint that works naturally on post-mounted sign frames, pillar faces, patio partition panels, and building corners where width is limited. Properties that have already installed the horizontal version at their primary smoking area entrance will find this vertical format the ideal companion piece for secondary approach paths, side entrances, and interior corridor mounting points — maintaining consistent signage design language across the entire property without requiring the same mounting surface dimensions. For Los Angeles properties managing both smoking and vaping compliance across multiple access points, this vertical version completes the coverage that the horizontal sign begins.
